Remote access turns your vehicle DVR into a live window into your fleet. By connecting an Eastyle 4G/5G MDVR to the CMSV6 platform, you can watch live video, review recorded footage and track GPS position from any computer or smartphone — wherever your vehicles are. Follow the steps below to get connected.
Place the SIM card into the MDVR's SIM slot and make sure the antenna is securely connected. Power on the device and confirm the network LED indicates a registered 4G/5G signal.
Enter the MDVR menu, open the Network settings and set the correct APN, username and access code provided by your mobile carrier. Without the correct APN the device cannot reach the internet.
In the MDVR's Server / Platform settings, enter the CMSV6 server IP (or domain), port number and the device ID. Confirm the device successfully registers with the platform.
Log in to CMSV6 with your account, add the device using its ID, and assign it to a group. Once the device shows "online", you are ready to view video.
Choose the device in CMSV6 and open the live view. You should see real-time video from all channels plus the current GPS position on the map.
Install the CMSV6 mobile app, log in with the same account and confirm you can view live video and playback from your phone.
Verify the SIM has data, the APN is correct, the server address and port match your platform, and the antenna is connected. Restart the device after changing settings.
A single SD-quality channel typically uses 300–700MB per hour. Use event-triggered uploads or lower bitrates to reduce data costs.
Yes. In CMSV6 you can play back footage stored on the SD card or HDD over the network, or download clips for evidence.
Always change the default access code, use a private APN where possible and restrict platform access to authorised staff.
